We are looking for two co-founders with complementary skills, so that we have all the expertise needed to develop the company:

  • an INTERNATIONAL SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR who will develop and manage the B2C channel, better if he/she has a strong experience in the footwear business
  • a MARKETING & COMMUNICATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR with deep expertise in e-commerce who will lead the B2C/D2C channel, better if he/she has a strong experience in the consumer goods/fashion/sport sector
WHAT THE COMPANY IS ABOUT

ARIA insoles was born in Italy after two years of research conducted by biomedical engineers with a clear goal: to reduce moisture and heat inside sports and professional footwear, such as hiking boots, work, or military shoes, which need to be worn for many hours a day. From this journey, a patented and unique technology in the world was born: the first truly actively breathable insoles. Thanks to a system of internal microchannels, ARIA insoles ventilate the shoes with every step, expelling moisture and keeping the foot dry and comfortable even in the most extreme conditions. Tests show a reduction of up to 50% in temperature and up to 80% in internal humidity, results that no traditional footwear or insole can match. Completely developed and produced in Italy, ARIA insoles combine engineering, ergonomics, and top-quality materials. A single pair can be used in different shoes, transforming them all into super breathable footwear — from sports to leisure, from work to everyday life. Our goal is simple: to bring fresh air and well-being to every shoe, one step at a time.

WHAT MARKETs

Initially Italy and DACH. Afterward, as soon as we have enough “energy”, the other EU countries and US since in those geographies we have extended our patent

  • People who, for pleasure or duty, wear poorly ventilated shoes for many hours a day. (Pleasure: trekking, long-distance running, etc.; Duty: military personnel, police officers, assembly line workers or construction workers, etc.).
  • People suffering from plantar hyperhidrosis (5% of the world's population).
  • Teenagers, as they have increased foot perspiration (—> high incidence of fungal and bacterial infections, smelly feet, ingrown toenails, etc.).
STATUS
  • We have the product ready
  • We have the patent in Europe and US
  • We have established early relationships with independent shoes sales representatives in Italy, and they are starting to offer our product to their customers
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
  • At least 10 years of experience in the footwear and/or insoles industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in internationalization in the EU and US
  • Master's degree in technical disciplines with MBA or Master's degree in economics
REQUIREMENTS MARKETING & COMMUNICATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B and/or D2C
  • Operational experience on Amazon
  • Master's degree in technical disciplines with MBA or Master's degree in economics
