Cluster Assistant Reservations Manager - Six Senses Rome, Milan, Ibiza (based in Milan)
As Cluster Assistant Reservations Manager, you will support the coordination, consistency, and quality of the Reservations function across three stunning Six Senses properties: Milan, Rome, and Ibiza.
You will be based in Milan, working closely with the Cluster Reservations Manager, while collaborating with the team members to ensure seamless booking processes, accurate data management, and excellent guest service. This is a key supporting leadership role focused on guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and revenue contribution.
Your responsibilities will include the following key areas:
Vision and Values
- Promote Six Senses’ mission of helping people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them.
- Support and represent the brand’s values, including sustainability, crafted experiences, and emotional hospitality.
- Support the integration of wellness initiatives (Sleep, Eat, Grow With Six Senses) into the reservations process.
- Encourage a wellness-driven approach in guest interactions.
Sustainability
- Help implement and communicate sustainable practices within the reservations function.
- Ensure alignment with environmental goals such as reducing single-use plastics and mindful consumption.
Operational Support
- Assist in the daily coordination of reservations teams across the cluster.
- Support PMS/CRS setup and maintenance, including room types, rate codes, and availability controls.
- Monitor reservation accuracy and ensure quality data entry across all platforms.
- Assist with blackout dates, rate loading, availability checks, and parity reviews.
- Handle VIP bookings, special requests, and pre-arrival communication.
- Maintain smooth coordination between Reservations and other departments (Front Office, Sales, Spa).
Administration
- Assist in preparing reservation reports (pickup, forecast, pace).
- Contribute to overbooking strategies and rate audits.
- Maintain SOPs and departmental documentation for consistency.
Quality
- Ensure accuracy of guest profiles, preferences, and payment information.
- Support training and product knowledge across the Reservations teams.
- Identify service gaps and propose improvements.
- Support up-selling initiatives and inventory optimization.
- Contribute to rate strategy discussions with data analysis and reporting.
People Management
- Assist in supervising and developing Reservations Hosts and Supervisors.
- Help manage scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Foster a collaborative, guest-focused work environment.
General
- Lead by example, upholding Six Senses values and professional standards.
- Ensure safety, security, grooming, and hygiene standards are respected.
- Be flexible in work schedule and support Duty Management shifts when needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in reservations or front office within luxury hospitality.
- Proficiency in PMS, POS, and CRM systems; strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of a local language is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and guest-oriented mindset.
- Valid European nationality or residency/work permit required.
