We are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to support a global manufacturing company on a 12 month rolling contract working a flexible hybrid model in Italy.

Global IT Cyber Security - Cloud Security Architect

is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the security architecture of the cloud systems and networks that support the company's critical infrastructure and operations.

7+ years of experience in cloud security or related fields, such as cloud engineering, IT security or cyber security.

10+ years of proven experience working in an Information Technology role.

Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud security solutions in complex and critical environments, such as manufacturing, energy, or transportation.

Strong knowledge of cloud security standards and frameworks, such as ISO / IEC 27017, NIST SP 800-144, and CSA CCM.

Strong knowledge of cloud systems and networks, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure (preferred) and Google Cloud, and their security protocols.

Strong knowledge of IT security principles and practices, such as network security, cryptography, and incident response.

Global IT Cyber Security - Cloud Security Architect

shall be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions for the cloud environment across the Group's sites and operations. The Cloud Security Architect will work closely with the Global IT Manager, Cyber Security, the IT Infrastructure & Operation Manager, Cloud Platform Owner and the Business Partners to ensure that the cloud security strategy and architecture are aligned with business objectives and IT security policies and standards.

Develop and maintain the cloud security architecture framework, policies, standards, and guidelines for the cloud systems and networks.

Conduct cloud security risk assessments and audits and provide recommendations and remediation plans for cloud security issues and gaps.

Design and implement cloud security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms for the cloud systems and networks.

Provide cloud security awareness and training to cloud engineers, IT security teams, and business stakeholders, and promote the cloud security culture and best practices.

Research and evaluate emerging cloud security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations and guidance for cloud security improvement and innovation.
