Il candidato ideale ha oltre 5 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo software con competenze in C#, C/C++, e approfondite conoscenze di microservizi e API REST. For our brand-new office located in Milano Bicocca we are looking for a:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Description:

MainStreaming is in a scaling phase; our team is going to expands internationally and the heart of our product the R&D team is looking for new talents to join us. To improve everyday our platform, we are looking for a talented Software Developer who helps us on tons of new projects including CDN hi-throughput delivery and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of software applications dedicated for video streaming by collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Be responsible for the code performance.
• Develop and manage backend high performance application.
• Propose, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to maximize the efficiency of development.
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop.

We’re Looking for a:

• PASSION FOR THE PRODUCT: Professional attitude towards software craftsmanship including testing and a passion for writing good documentation.
• PROACTIVITY: You are confident enough to self-start your project and set your priority in autonomy while working with a group of international peers.

• TEAMWORK: A high degree of collaboration, we are a team, we develop and grow together.
• ENGLISH: Conversational level, you will share your time within an international Team.

SKILLS:

• 5+ years of software development;
• Skilled on C# or other object-oriented programming language;
• C/C++ programming skills;
• Json and XML, able to read/understand and write;
• Testing framework (xunit, jmeter)
• Experience working with microservices;
• Knowledge of REST-based APIs.
• Knowledge of HTTP Protocol

Nice to have:

• Queue and message broker knowledge (rabbit MQ, Kafka)
• Computer Networking basic Knowledge
• Experience with UNIX batch applications and Shell scripting
• Experience with containers and container orchestrations systems (Kubernetes)
• SQL/ORM web development experience is highly desired.
• Knowledge of video streaming protocols
• Knowledge of DNS system;
• LUA scripting skills
