A community based service provider is seeking a Caregiver in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. You will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through daily living activities, community outings, and skill-building sessions. Ideal candidates should have experience in similar roles, first aid and CPR certification, and strong communication skills. This position offers growth opportunities, day hours, and a competitive hourly rate between $16.00 and $19.00.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, small group activities and crafts, hygiene needs, dispensing medication, leading community outings and volunteer opportunities and helping people Live Life to the Fullest.

Responsibilities

• Transporting individuals to our centers and to community outings
• Lead small group and skill building activities
• Documenting on goals and individual progress
• Provide companionship
• Assist with mobility, hygiene and meal prep
• Assisting with medication
• Light cleaning activities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• First aid and CPR-certified
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasm
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
