You will manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and contribute to corporate social responsibility efforts. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of purchasing experience and is fluent in English and Italian.

BUYER

Reporting to the Site Purchasing Manager, the Buyer will support the Site Purchasing team by following the entire purchasing process for the family of products assigned (in the field of analyzers production).

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manages existing suppliers;
• Looks for new vendors;
• Prepares RfQ (Request for quotation); Negotiates and agrees to Terms and Conditions/Local Contracts;
• Fills/updates vendor and part data in our ERP (SAP);
• Manages contractual compliance and contract execution;
• Helps to solve quality issues
• Manages the risks linked with the supplies and suppliers.
• Works with the Purchasing team to reach the goals assigned
• Contribute to company effort for Corporate Social Responsibility

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of experience within the Purchasing field
• Advanced spoken and written English and Italian
• Experience with negotiating, qualifying suppliers, contract management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in inter-functional teams
• Technical background is a plus
• International experience is a plus
