Job Purpose

Are you a bold hunter ready to own your market? As Business Development Manager at Amcor, you will have full ownership of Italy as your primary territory, with the opportunity to extend your impact into select Southern European countries, including Croatia, Greece, Albania, Macedonia, and neighboring markets.

You will independently build and grow your own customer pipeline, driving new partnerships and innovative packaging solutions, while collaborating closely with Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders.

As part of a high-performing team of four Business Development Managers, each covering distinct regions, this is your chance to establish yourself as the go-to expert in your market, make a real impact, and accelerate your career within a market-leading organization.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Drive New Business Development in Italy and Southern Europe
  • Identify, research, and target high-potential prospects across your territory.
  • Independently generate leads, pitch Amcor’s value proposition, and convert opportunities into partnerships.
  • Build and Manage Pipeline Across the Region
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, tracking their journey from first contact to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer ramp-up and successful project execution.
  • Develop Strategic Relationships
  • Engage with decision-makers in Italy and Southern Europe to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, positioning Amcor as the innovation leader in sustainable packaging.
  • Collaborate Across Functions To Drive Regional Growth
  • Work closely with Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Customer Service, and neighboring functions to execute defined strategies.
  • Contribute insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor dynamics to shape business strategy.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Master degree in Business, Commercial, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within large organizations.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the drive to pick up the phone and pursue opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and pragmatic approach to seizing business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in value-based selling and delivering high-impact commercial results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Italian and professional English are mandatory requirements.
