The candidate will manage budgets for digital projects, monitor costs, and provide financial reports. Required skills include 4-5 years of experience in controlling and budgeting, along with proficiency in ServiceNow and SAP. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires fluency in Italian and English, with Spanish as a plus.

Our client, a leading organisation in the Major & Utilities sector, is looking for a Budget & Cost Controller with strong experience in digital and data-driven environments for a 6 months Contract Engagement. The selected candidate will support financial planning, cost monitoring, and budget management for digital initiatives, working closely with finance, PMO, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgets for digital and data-related projects
• Monitor costs, forecasts, and budget vs. actuals
• Produce regular financial reports and variance analysis
• Use ServiceNow for planning, activity tracking, and workflow support
• Extract, validate, and reconcile cost data from SAP
• Support project teams with cost allocation and financial forecasting
• Serve as liaison with Finance and PMO for periodic alignment

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years’ experience in Controlling, Budgeting, or Cost Monitoring
• Strong command of budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting
• Practical experience using ServiceNow for planning and workflow management
• Good working knowledge of SAP for financial data extraction
• Background in digital or data-driven environments (preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
