Overview
Business Development Specialist reporting to Senior BD & KAM for our BU E&M Automotive and Service Logistics. We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive the business development agenda and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive DSC business and growth agenda within EMEC Automotive and SL Sector through the proactive identification, assessment, pursuit and win of new sales opportunities;
- Identify and analyze potential clients for the development of the business according to BU target;
- Conduct research meetings with the customers and leverage coach network to understand the customer's organization, requirements and business objectives;
- Collaborate with internal functions that support the sales process, gather required input and coordinate actions;
- Work in close cooperation with customer operations teams (ensure quality, improve performance);
- Identify DSC\'s value proposition and high level solution parameters based on customer requirements;
- Develop a structured plan on how to win the opportunity (win-plan);
- Facilitate knowledge/ best-practice sharing between DSC community;
- Present solution to customer demonstrating clear business value, engage in negotiations and close the deal;
- Collect customer feedback after opportunity and conduct internal Post-Opportunity Review;
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master in Supply Chain;
- At least 3 years of experience in Operations or Logistic Design Role
- Fluent knowledge of English;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Proactive personality, Strategic Thinking,
- Strong Sales and Negotiation skills.
