An international technology company is looking for an Avionic Subsystem Engineer in Varese. You will be responsible for understanding clients' needs, collaborating with development teams to meet project guidelines, and supporting avionics system architecture integration. A technical degree in fields such as Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering is essential. The role requires fluent English proficiency, as you'll interface with suppliers and coordinate software development teams, ensuring project milestones are met effectively.

Avionic Subsystem Engineer

The role is inserted in the Display Systems organizational unit of Avionics System Development area. The unit is responsible of the design, development and qualification / certification activities related to the Display Systems , specifically for the SubSystems with internal development of the software application in charge of the Human Machine Interface.

Sub-System Engineers interface Avionics System Engineer functional areas for all the aspects pertaining the integration of the display system and its application in the product avionic system, and collaborate with Avionics System Engineer and HMI Simulation area for the definition of the Company. .

Activities and responsibilities of the role include :

• understanding the clients’ needs and expected outcome
• collaborating with the development team to identify design solutions in line with expectations and with project guidelines (plans, standards, technical and schedule constraints, budget)
• support the avionics system architecture definition and integration
• contributing to HMI definition
• contributing and coordinating the activities necessary to develop and qualify the software application in all its development phases (requirements definition, architectural and detailed design, coding and integration, validation and verification, design reviews and qualification / certification audits)
• interfacing and managing suppliers for activities' offload and for the displays platform procurement
• coordinating and leading the SW development team
• monitoring and managing the project in terms of schedule, costs and resources

HARD SKILLS

• degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Electronic, Electric, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering; Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering)
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
