The role involves optimizing NLP models, collaborating with an international AI team, and contributing to AI developments. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, strong programming skills in Python, and proficiency in NLP applications. This full-time role offers a P.iva freelancer contract and is fully remote.

We are looking for a passionate AI ENGINEER with strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our AI Team. The selected professional will contribute to the development of Search Engine AI, an advanced chatbot designed to answer questions related to corporate accounting. You will collaborate closely with an international AI team, providing technical expertise in NLP and applied Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize NLP models to support chatbot functionalities.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to refine the Search Engine AI product.
• Analyze data, pre‑process textual information, and contribute to model training and evaluation.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with project requirements.
• Document work clearly and communicate progress effectively within the team.

Required Qualifications

Hard Skills

• Proven experience in Machine Learning, specifically in NLP applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience working with modern NLP libraries, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., Transformers, LLMs, Deep Learning).
• Very good level of english and/or italian

Professional Experience

• At least 5 years of experience working in Artificial Intelligence or related fields (not necessarily senior level).
• Experience in NLP‑related projects is strongly preferred.

Nice-to-Have

• Previous experience in the financial sector is a plus, though not required.
