Position Summary

Develop Energizer strategic goals into the South region, managing Customers directly and via local Agents sales force.

Negotiate Regional and local listings and services, and lead customers business plans in the pursuit of increasing revenues over years and maximising customers’ Net Sales and Gros Margin.

Responsibilities
Business Management
  1. Drive the area sales force to achieve net sales and gross margin targets within the territory/customers assigned in line with annual and strategic objectives and budgets set by Head of Sales.
  2. Regularly review area performance against targets and refine as necessary with area sales force
  3. Lead and manage local customer negotiations and orders when needed in line with Company Guidelines. Through effective negotiation, maximize return on investment and margins, striving to grow sales.
  4. Lead & conduct annual agents target reviews and set up strategic business plans dedicated to each agent
  5. Ensure awareness and best execution of local and national agreements
  6. Cultivate & Manage “high and wide” relationships within these accounts to develop ENR mindshare in order to be considered as “best in class supplier”
  7. Feed-in the whole organization with retailers insights to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
  8. Consistently use Category Management based customer proposals in order to achieve optimum share of space and promotional activity for all the brands.
  9. Provide Accurate Forecasts to the business.
  10. Manage promotional activity by owning the planning, delivery and post evaluation of promotions and recommending any improvements to deliver better return on future promotional investment.
Leadership Management
  1. Develop relationships & working practices with external & internal customers and agents as long as Category Manager, Brand Activator, KAMs and other services to get alignment and focus to exceed customer needs.
  2. Coach and advise local agents to ensure best achievement of customers business plans.
What we are looking for
Education

Educated to ‘degree’ level or attained a professional qualification in business/commercial management

Fluent in English, oral and written - essential

Essential

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience, in a commercial environment – managing Key Accounts, sales man and or agents.

Tested successful negotiation skills and P&L responsibility.

Experience
  • Experience in managing clients directly, including P&L responsibility
  • Experience in managing Sales teams, including team sales result responsibility in south Italy area
  • Must be able to demonstrate a challenger attitude, and demonstrate where they have previously developed a proactive and successful trading relationship
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills, able to create synergies internally and externally
  • Collaborative, open, creative to find solutions together with the retailer
  • Autonomous, independent, driven, self-motivated
  • Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office)
