Job Description
The Advanced User Experience (UX) / User Interface (UI) Designer will play a key role in shaping the digital interactions and visual interfaces for the next generation of vehicles. The ideal candidate combines creativity and technical expertise, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a strong portfolio of impactful UX / UI projects.
As part of the Advanced UX / UI Design team, you will define how users interact with Stellantis products, ensuring intuitive, consistent, and visually engaging experiences across all digital touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities
- Advocate for a user-centered design approach, collaborating closely with UX researchers to validate and refine design solutions.
- Design and deliver a wide range of UX artifacts, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual mockups.
- Develop interface standards and interaction patterns to ensure design consistency and usability across platforms.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, design, and research) to define requirements and deliver cohesive experiences.
- Create data‑informed and research‑driven designs that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct UX testing and validation, analyzing user feedback to continuously improve design quality.
- Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices to drive innovation.
Profile / Qualifications
- Degree in UX / UI Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in UX / UI design, preferably in the automotive or consumer electronics industries.
- Strong command of UX methodologies, usability testing, and research techniques.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or InVision.
- Portfolio and or online body of work is a strong plus.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive prototyping is a plus.
- Excellent visual design, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Passion for emerging technologies, interaction design, and innovation.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
