Responsibilities
  • Working with all stakeholders to define and deploy equipment and process standards for Customer safety critical fastening items.
  • Collaboration with Plant Industrial Engineering teams to implement fastening standards and standard equipment.
  • Coaching plant engineering teams on best practices and defined standards for safety critical items.
  • Lead audits and support plants in the implementation and verification of fastening processes.
  • Run the RPA program for fastener data verification and ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify and support the rollout of fastening-related innovations and automation solutions.
  • Partner with Purchasing to develop key suppliers for fastening equipment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Quality, Safety Engineering, EHS, and IT.
Requirements
  • Min. 3 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
  • Technical University Degree.
  • Understanding of screwing tools, processes and fastening strategies.
  • High Standard of English language.
  • Project management experience.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role (max. 40% of the time, travels within Europe).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communicator – comfortable in presenting to all levels within the business.
  • Understanding of ergonomics.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and LPS / MES system.
