Description

As an Account Director, you’ll be the senior in-market lead responsible for managing and developing one of adm Indicia’s largest global client partnerships. You’ll drive operational excellence, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to unlock future value. Reporting to the Regional Client Partner, you’ll lead a team of 3–5 and serve as the key link between the client and adm Indicia, ensuring all local activities align with both immediate business needs and long-term strategic goals.

This is a dual-focused leadership role — balancing delivery excellence with strategic growth. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, brand, shopper, and procurement teams to deliver insight-led, innovative solutions that elevate performance and drive ROI.

Responsibilities
  • Own and develop the client relationship, aligning activity with commercial and marketing priorities.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the in-market team to deliver operational excellence and innovation.
  • Drive strategic growth by identifying opportunities to move higher up the marketing value chain.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across marketing, shopper, brand, and procurement.
  • Partner with strategy, performance, and production teams to deliver integrated, seamless solutions.
  • Ensure delivery meets all contractual KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Act as the in-market voice within the regional structure, communicating local needs and opportunities.
  • Champion continuous improvement through process, creative, and operational innovation.
Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in agency, marketing, or client services roles.
  • Proven success leading complex client relationships in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong commercial understanding, including P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Deep understanding of shopper strategy, retail, and brand activation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a balance of strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders across marketing, procurement, and commercial functions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, multi-market environment.
  • Fluency in Italian required
