A leading oil and gas service company in Indonesia seeks a Business Development and Account Manager to drive new business opportunities and manage existing client inquiries. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in TRS or related fields and possesses strong communication and negotiation skills. You will handle contract management and ensure client satisfaction through professional engagement. This position offers excellent growth potential and requires a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in TRS, OCTG, inspection, or oil & gas service companies.
  • Basic understanding of TRS operations (make-up torque, handling tools, safety requirements).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within TRS and oilfield services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with operators, drilling contractors, and procurement teams.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, including tender/RFQ documentation.
  • Manage incoming inquiries from existing clients to ensure timely responses.
  • Review key contract terms for compliance and maintain accurate contract documentation.

This role combines Business Development, Account Management, and Contract Management. You will handle new business opportunities, manage inquiries from existing clients, ensure timely follow-up, and maintain contractual compliance for ongoing projects. If you enjoy both building relationships and managing commercial responsibilities, this position offers strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within TRS and oilfield services.

Build and maintain relationships with operators, drilling contractors, and procurement teams.

Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, including tender/RFQ documentation.

Develop and manage a sales pipeline with regular follow-up.

Account Management (Light)

Handle incoming inquiries from existing clients and ensure timely responses.

Coordinate internally with other stakeholders to provide updates and follow-through on client requests.

Maintain professional and consistent communication to support client satisfaction.

Contract Management

Review and understand key contract terms including scope, pricing, payment terms, duration, cancellation clauses, and amendments.

Ensure proposals, invoices, and service delivery align with contract terms.

Track contract validity periods, renewals, and consumption of services/tools.

Maintain accurate contract documentation and updates in internal systems.

Coordinate with management or legal teams for contract clarifications or modifications.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in TRS, OCTG, inspection, or oil & gas service companies.

Basic understanding of TRS operations (make-up torque, handling tools, safety requirements).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline.

Ability to understand and manage commercial contract terms.
