Capsa is an AI platform that accelerates due diligence and deepens insights for Private Equity funds. We are hiring senior software engineers who are comfortable contributing across all layers of the application and developing features end to end.

• Role: Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
• Location: London, UK (Hybrid, In-Person 4 days a week)
• Experience Required: 5+ years
• Remuneration: £75k → £100k + Generous ESOP

Capsa enables investors to aggregate and analyse large amounts of data using AI agents, driving better returns for their funds.

Founded in December 2023, we already serve top-tier PE funds managing over £50 billion across the US, UK, and Europe, and have raised over £1.8 million in funding from prominent fintech venture capitalists and private equity angels.

Our founding team combines deep expertise in Private Equity and AI. Our CEO, Danyal, has extensive experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking at top-tier institutions including AEA Investors, Citigroup, and Deutsche Bank. Our CTO, Callum, brings significant Machine Learning and AI experience from leading defense companies like QinetiQ and retail tech startups such as Standard AI. The entire team consists of early-stage startup veterans passionate about building exceptional products.

A senior software engineer at Capsa is expected to own projects and features from conception to production, working across the stack to deliver improvements to our AI platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Improving our agent's capabilities - design and implement new features that endow our agent with human-level investment expertise.
• Improving connectivity - integrate and incorporate additional data sources into our agent loop, increasing the depth and breadth of the analyses that can be performed.
• Maintaining high code quality - uphold rigorous standards across our codebase, ensuring tech debt doesn't impede our velocity.

Recent projects include:

• Agentic assistant with a finance-focused toolkit and advanced document authoring features
• Scalable document ingestion and indexing pipeline
• Custom, streaming-first agent framework
• AI-assisted document editor

• You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in a venture backed startup or top tech firm.
• You have taken entire products or features from ideation to production and you've measured their impact.
• You have experience with the following technologies (or similar): Python, FastAPI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, LLMs, Typescript, React
• You enjoy diving deep into the domain, understanding the problem, and focusing on delivering value to the customer.
