Since 1929, The Great Room and The Ballroom have hosted royalty, presidents, actors, and musicians at London's most exclusive events. The Great Room, one of Europe's largest and most impressive event spaces, can host up to 2,000 guests banquet-style, making it a highlight of Grosvenor House.

This role involves supporting drinks and wine service while providing exemplary customer service, remaining approachable and professional. Basic responsibilities include:

• Placing pre-ordered drinks on correct tables before guest arrivals
• Supporting drinks receptions including tray service
• Taking and processing drink orders from assigned tables
• Delivering drinks to tables
• Pouring wine and water, ensuring guest comfort
• Proactively assisting guests as needed

Additional opportunities include supporting other areas of the Conference and Banqueting department, such as conference support, Green Room assistance, hosting, door duties, and cloakroom management.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Strong communication skills

Shifts typically last 10-12 hours, mostly starting in the late afternoon or evening, with flexibility to work different days and late hours based on event schedules.
