Our oil & gas Operator client are seeking a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to support the Deputy Company Secretary in corporate governance duties for the organisation.

Role Overview

• Support the Deputy Company Secretary on Plc-related matters for the business.
• Provide governance insight and advice for subsidiary entities globally.
• Deliver Board support and corporate governance guidance across company entities.
• Contribute to the Governance section of the Annual Report and Form 20-F.
• Ensure compliance with evolving statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements.
• Manage registrar (Equiniti) relationship and ensure high-quality shareholder service.

Skills & Qualifications

• Government Processing: Proficient in managing governmental and regulatory processes.
• Legislation & Compliance: Strong understanding of legal frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Contractual Rights & Obligations: Knowledgeable in managing contractual agreements and obligations.

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: Chartered Governance Institute qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a corporate secretariat function, including Plc experience.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory best practices relevant to the role.

Pay & Benefits

• 6 month Interim Contract with global Oil & Gas Operator
• Attractive daily rate (PAYE only)
• Work Location: London (Hybrid - 50% in-office).
