A recruitment agency is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team in Greater London. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience and a degree in Social Work. Responsibilities include providing quality services to vulnerable children and conducting assessments. The role offers full-time hours at £39.04 per hour in a supportive and professional environment.
We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.
This team provides quality services to vulnerable children, young people and their families and act as the first point of contact. This team has a child‑centred approach and is a key contributor when deciding appropriate action, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Carrying out S17, SAFs and pre birth assessments are some of the day to day responsibilities in this role.
A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children is imperative in order to be considered for this role. The ability to work as part of a multi‑agency team, having a solid understanding of frontline safeguarding and being comfortable with making decisions under pressure, in a fast past environment lends to the success of this position.
