The ideal candidate will have substantial estimating experience, strong measurement skills, and a proactive approach to client liaison. Qualifications

  • Estimating experience with a subcontractor or main contractor required.
  • Strong measurement skills and ability to interpret technical drawings are essential.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of tender strategy needed.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing tenders, cost plans and measured estimates for carpentry and roofing work packages.
  • Reviewing drawings, scope documents and specifications.
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Supporting value engineering through material and method analysis.
  • Preparing BOQs, labour breakdowns and pricing schedules.
  • Supporting handover to commercial and delivery teams.

Skills

Estimating experience with subcontractor or main contractor (carpentry or roofing preferred)
