Job summary
A leading design and installation provider is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer based in Liverpool. The role involves managing projects from start to finish, developing client relationships, and ensuring project quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in Site and Project Management, with a background in Fabrication or Pipework and familiarity working within FMCG or Pharmaceutical sectors.
Qualifications
- Experience in Site Management and Project Management.
- Background in Fabrication or Pipework.
- Previous work in FMCG or Pharmaceutical environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish.
- Quote and seek client approval.
- Develop client relationships to ensure project continuation.
- On-site management and supervision of tradesmen.
- Manage resources within project budgets.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Skills
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 DOE
My client is a leading provider of Design, Fabric kwaad and Installation/Relocation services, predominantly focused on Pharmaceutical and FMCG environments with long‑standing relationships in both sectors. The ideal candidate will come from a Fabrication / Pipework background with demonstrable Site Management and Project Management experience and previous tenure in FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Hygienic environments. The role requires the candidate to be based within a commutable distance of Liverpool.
- Attending to clients' needs both on and off site and servicing projects from start to finish
- Quoting clients' job requirements, seeking approval via Regional Director
- Proactively developing client relationships, ensuring continuation of projects
- On‑site management including co‑ordination and supervision of tradesmen
- Managing resources in line with project budget, controlling costs and ensuring clients' expectations of quality are met
- Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to
