A leading Public Sector organisation in Belfast is seeking a Payroll & Employee Benefits Manager. The role involves managing daily payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a recognised payroll qualification or equivalent experience, alongside excellent technical and bookkeeping skills. - Minimum three years managing a Payroll function required.
- Five years experience without relevant qualifications will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage day to day Payroll operations.
- Ensure accurate processing of payroll transactions.
- Guide staff to reconcile Payroll accounts.
- Ensure timely payroll deductions and transfers.
- Work with HR on procedures for new starts and leavers.
- Participate in Payroll software development.
- Ensure timely Payroll returns to authorities.
