A global fintech leader is seeking a Senior Payments / Regulatory Lawyer to lead its global D2S regulatory strategy and license applications. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in payments regulation, managing regulatory engagements, and license preparations. This position requires expertise in domestic and cross-border funds transfers and offers the potential for 12 months with permanent opportunities. 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Lead global D2S regulatory strategy, license applications
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 10+ years experience, with expertise in payments regulation, domestic and cross-border funds transfers.
Act as the single regulatory point of contact for Direct to Scheme (D2S), streamlining engagement and governance.
Lead global D2S regulatory strategy, including Phase 2 planning and execution.
Manage local regulatory advice for scheme connections
Manage license application preparation, readiness assessments and guidance.
Support regulator and scheme operator engagements.
Consolidate obligations across schemes to optimize sequencing and leverage lessons learned.
Coordinate with local counsel and compliance while owning all deliverables.
Create global documentation for D2S regulatory strategy to ensure smooth transition post-contract.
