Job summary
A large housing association is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to lead fixed asset processes and ensure accurate monthly reporting. Ideal candidates will be qualified accountants with experience in the housing or property sectors and have strong analytical and communication skills. - Demonstrable experience in fixed asset accounting within Housing or Property sectors.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and accounting standards relating to fixed assets.
- Ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of fixed asset processes for timely monthly reporting.
- Administer the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate accounting.
- Participate in producing annual statutory accounts liaising with auditors.
