A leading retail company in the UK is looking for a Project Manager to oversee their annual asset renewal programme. The role requires a strong background in construction management and project delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations while managing budgets and stakeholder relationships. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and experience in retail construction. The company offers a hybrid working model, with competitive benefits including a company bonus and pension scheme.
You will collaborate and build strong day to day relationships with multiple stakeholders including Property, Finance, Project Managers / PMO's, QS and external suppliers and consultants to ensure projects are delivered within agreed commercial frameworks and timescales. You will play a lead role in the delivery of the planned Asset Renewal programme across all disciplines, driving value engineering and cost effectiveness, and work closely with our facilities partner on reactive projects.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
