Quality Controller – Fruit
We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier in Kent, becoming a key member of the Quality & Technical team as a QC / Quality Controller.
The position of QC / Quality Controller will focus on quality control inspections of product on intake, online or positive release, to ensure the product meets standards to complete customer orders, monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on the quality of the product.
- Product inspection
- Work to and achieve daily KPI’s
- Report any issues or defects in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health & Safety
- Ensure all product packaging meets expected standards
- Experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role
- Fresh Produce knowledge advantageous, ideally Fruit
- Good attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Shift: Days; working Monday – Friday; 8-5, 1 weekend in three at the most with time off in lieu.
Starting Salary: £25-27k
