A major NHS healthcare provider is seeking an Operational Services Manager specializing in aseptic services. The successful candidate will lead production activities ensuring compliance with quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Responsibilities include supporting the team to deliver day-to-day manufacturing services and ensuring proper monitoring and validation activities. Ideal candidates must have significant aseptic services experience and relevant qualifications, including registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Salary below £25,000 may not qualify for sponsorship.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with significant experience in aseptic services. You will work closely with the other Operational Services Managers to help steer the team at the production unit. You will support & facilitate the production activity of the APU. Your input will be vital, ensuring that quality is at the centre of everything we do for our patients across the NHS and private healthcare settings. As an Operational Services Manager in Aseptics you will need to deliver and maintain on a day‑to‑day basis, the manufacturing services, in line with resources and service demands. Ensure that activities and records relating to the monitoring and validation of the environment, equipment processes and staff performance are correctly carried out. Work in conjunction with the Assistant Director – Manufacturing Services and the Quality Assurance team, to ensure that aseptic dispensing and manufacturing is carried out in compliance with current legislation (as regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency – MHRA) and standards following the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant’s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post (£23 standard or £43 enhanced). Bank posts require upfront payment. DBS applications submitted from 2nd December will be subject to the new DBS fee of £26.50 (standard) and £54.50 (enhanced). Skilled visa applicants and dependants may need criminal record certificates from each country lived in consecutively for 12 months or more in the last ten years.
