Salary : £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am – 5 : 30pm (with on‑call duties; time off in lieu)
Essential Requirements
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
Police Station Accreditation (mandatory)
Proven experience supervising fee earners within a criminal defence team
Strong working knowledge of LAA compliance, billing, and quality standards
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and organisational skills
Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision
Local area knowledge of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire criminal courts
