Before & After School Early Years Practitioner – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

Location: Sevenoaks, TN15 0JU
Due to the remote location of this venue, driving is essential.

Hours: 23.75 hours per week during term-time (7:15-9am and 3-6pm Monday to Friday) with up to 40 hours per week during school holidays.

Salary: £16-20ph (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare.

We are recruiting for the leading provider of out of school and wraparound childcare for primary school children in the UK. This role operates out of a beautiful private school in the Sevenoaks area, offering access to fantastic facilities and outdoor space, providing an incredible opportunity for a qualified practitioner with experience working with Early Years children to try something new.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the EYFS programme and key children at your provision. Your duties include planning programmes and lessons within the company structure, monitoring progress, inspiring children, and delivering effective activities. There are also opportunities to work during the holidays as part of activity and sport camps, which may include Early Years children.

Requirements for the role include:

• A Passion for Working with Early Years Children: Providing inclusive, fun, and engaging activities while inspiring exploration.
• Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: Responsible for planning and delivering structured activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
• Responsibility and Reliability: Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, following policies, completing accident and safety forms, and being consistently reliable.
• Communication and Engagement: Conducting oneself professionally, communicating effectively with team members, parents, children, and schools, and representing the organisation positively.
