A leading educational trust in the UK is seeking a Compassionate Schools Coach to support learners at Discovery Academy in Nuneaton. The role involves helping students develop strategies for emotional self-regulation and leading debrief sessions after incidents. Candidates should be proactive, compassionate, and capable of managing challenging behaviors. This important position requires physical fitness and a dedication to ongoing professional training. MAT Pay Scale: (C‑D, points 24‑28)

Hours of Work: Term Time only, 38 hours per week

We are recruiting a compassionate and proactive individual to support learners in developing effective strategies for emotional self‑regulation, enabling them to fully engage in learning, care, and support available within the school environment. The role includes leading debriefing sessions with learners and staff following incidents, fostering a reflective and supportive culture, and teaching young people safer and more effective ways of communicating their needs. Some challenging behaviours may occur, so the role requires physical fitness.
A comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and professional development will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to thrive in this vital role.
