Locum Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6) - High Pay, Flexible Contract in Manchester!

Are you a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) looking for a rewarding locum role in Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

• Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6)
• Location: Manchester
• Duration: 3 months ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £26 per hour

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health challenges in a community setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations.
• Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote mental well-being and recovery.
• Managing caseloads and delivering community-based mental health support.
• Liaising with families, social workers, GPs, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Monitoring medication management and adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.
• Offering crisis intervention and risk management strategies to ensure patient safety.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience as a Community Psychiatric Nurse or in adult mental health settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
