A leading law firm in Manchester is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to manage a caseload with partner support. The role involves handling a range of disputes, including commercial litigation and business development opportunities. Ideal candidates should be qualified solicitors with 2-4 years of PQE and a focus on client relationships. This position offers a competitive salary and a clear path for career progression within a respected national practice.
We are working with a leading UK and international law firm that is looking to grow its Commercial Litigation team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to work on a broad mix of disputes, many with an international element, including contractual and commercial litigation, judicial review and procurement challenges, professional negligence claims, reputation management, injunctions and contentious insolvency.
You’ll manage your own caseload with partner support, while also assisting on larger, complex matters. The team is highly collaborative, offering excellent exposure to high-value work and a clear framework for career development. There is also plenty of scope to get involved in client relationship management and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with around 2–4 years’ PQE and experience across commercial litigation. Exposure to insolvency is helpful but not essential. A strong client focus, technical ability and willingness to take responsibility will all be key.
This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, alongside excellent progression opportunities within a well-respected national practice.
