ASB Officer - Housing Association

Location: West Midlands

Contract: 3-6 Months Temp (Strong Potential to Go Permanent)

Start Date: 5th January

Working Pattern: Hybrid (Home & Estate Visits)

We are currently working with a leading Housing Association in the West Midlands who are looking for an experienced ASB Officer to join their team. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone who thrives in community-focused, resident-facing work and is confident managing a busy caseload from day one.

Role Overview

As an ASB Officer, you will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload of low to high-risk Anti‑Social Behaviour cases. You will work directly with residents, partner agencies, and internal teams to resolve issues, support community safety, and ensure effective tenancy management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and investigate a varied caseload of ASB cases
  • Engage with residents, stakeholders, and partner agencies
  • Conduct visits, interviews, and mediation where required
  • Prepare statements, evidence, and documentation for legal action
  • Support community safety initiatives and early‑intervention strategies
  • Confidently lone‑work and make sound case decisions
About You
  • Minimum 18 months ASB experience within social housing or local authority
  • Strong understanding of ASB legislation and enforcement tools
  • Experienced in case management and multi‑agency working
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills
