A clinical laboratory service provider in Greater London is seeking an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join their team at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. The role involves processing specimens across various disciplines and offers extensive training opportunities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join TDL Pathology, the largest independent provider of clinical laboratory services in the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced BMS to join our diverse and friendly team based in the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

Flexible Shift Patterns to Suit You
This role covers all shifts, nights, weekends, and late shifts, working 37.5 hours per week. A suitable shift pattern will be considered once you have completed full training and competency.

What You Will Be Doing Every Day
You will play a vital role in processing all pathology specimens across Haematology, Biochemistry and Transfusion, working closely with Biomedical Scientist and Medical Laboratory Assistant colleagues to ensure smooth workflow. Your attention to detail will ensure tests are performed accurately, safely, and promptly, with specialised and urgent samples handled with the highest priority.

To include, but not be restricted to, the following duties:
Training and Education
1. Multidisciplinary Training as required
2. To maintain own personal development and attend departmental meetings as required.
3. To maintain registration with the HCPC, including a personal development portfolio as proof of competence to practice.
4. To take an active interest in and keep abreast of developments in the discipline.
5. To further develop junior colleagues by assisting in the training of MLA and BMS staff, and to undertake, complete, and sign off all competencies associated with these grades.
