Job summary
A catering company in Oxford is looking for a Chef de Partie to join a busy team producing around 900 meals daily. The role includes running your own section, maintaining high food and safety standards, and preparing meals for various service needs. Ideal candidates should possess NVQ Level 2 in Food Production and have experience in high-volume kitchens. The position offers a salary of £27,067 with overtime and normal daytime hours from Monday to Friday, occasionally including Saturdays.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join a busy catering team producing around 900 meals a day. You'll be part of a brigade of 25, including 6 chefs, working in a modern kitchen with a strong team spirit.
- Running your own section and maintaining high food and safety standards
- Preparing and serving meals for breakfast, lunch and hospitality events
- Supporting with menu cycles, food preparation and service
- Assisting with functions and occasional weekend work on a rota
- Covering reduced hours during school holiday periods
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Production (or equivalent)
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
- An Enhanced DBS check
- A chef with a real passion for food and high standards
- Experience in busy, high-volume kitchens
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
- £27,067 annual salary
- Overtime at £21.06 per hour
- Daytime hours - Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
