Job summary
A growing technology firm is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their team in Manchester. In this permanent remote role, you will focus on building scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions. Key responsibilities include developing Salesforce Flows, writing Apex code, and collaborating in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, proficiency in DevOps practices, and the ability to maintain technical documentation. Active SC clearance is required for this position.

- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, especially with Service Cloud.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Flow development and advanced process automation.
- Strong Apex programming skills and experience with unit testing.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including source control and automated deployments.

We are looking for a experienced Salesforce Developer to join our growing team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll take ownership of building scalable and secure Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, working from detailed architectural designs to deliver high-quality, production-ready features. This is a hands‑on technical role with a strong focus on development, automation, and Agile delivery.
- Build and configure Salesforce Service Cloud features such as case management, knowledge base, workflows, and automation.
- Develop robust Salesforce Flows and write clean, scalable Apex code (classes, triggers, components).
- Use DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps to manage deployments, branching strategies, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Operate in an Agile environment, managing user stories and tasks in Jira.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver on time and to spec.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to peer reviews and quality control.
- Support live Salesforce applications and contribute to continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with strong exposure to Service Cloud.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Flow development and advanced process automation.
- Strong Apex programming skills and experience with unit testing.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including source control (Git), branching, and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST / SOAP) and integration techniques.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I / II, Service Cloud Consultant (strongly preferred).
- Awareness of accessibility standards and testing.
