  • Ensure that findings are followed up and that improvement actions are tracked.
  • Escalate safeguarding or significant compliance risks immediately in line with policy.
  • Support the Group’s preparation for CQC, Ofsted, and other external inspections.
Collaboration & Support
  • Work with Regional Clinical Leads to align review activity with professional standards.
  • Provide constructive challenge to local teams, supporting them to improve practice.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the Group’s quality assurance framework.
  • Support training and development initiatives related to audit findings.
Essential Criteria
  • Professional background in health, education, or social care (e.g. nursing, social work, psychology, therapy).
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality assurance in regulated services.
  • Experience of undertaking audits, reviews, or compliance checks.
  • Ability to analyse information, identify risks, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Confidence to challenge and hold others to account.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
Desirable
  • Experience working in SEND, education, or multi-site organisations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CQC, Ofsted, HCPC, BPS, RCOT, RCSLT).
