A local educational institution in Portsmouth seeks a Lunchtime Assistant to supervise children during lunchtime and ensure their safety. Responsibilities include fostering relationships through play and administering first aid when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and experience caring for young children. This is a fixed-term part-time position requiring commitment during term time.

Conoscenze
Cumberland Infant School is seeking a Lunchtime Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and welfare, and building strong relationships with them.
- Job Title: Lunchtime Assistant
- Reports to: Headteacher
- Grade: Pay Band 1
- Salary: £2,731.81 pro rata
- Fixed Term Contract: 12 months
- Hours: 12-1pm Monday to Friday (5 hours per week, term time only)
- Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and welfare
- Build strong relationships with children through play and conversation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Administer and record minor First Aid
- Adhere to the school's Ethos, Learning Values, and policies
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Sense of fun
- Experience caring for young children
- Hard-working and able to show initiative
