Health, Safety Environment & Quality Advisor

A leading privately owned contractor based in the south coast is currently seeking an experienced construction biased Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Advisor to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor.

About the Role

The main contractor traditionally specialises in commercial & residential new build, refurbishment, maintenance and fit out projects. Across the education, health & industrial new valuing up to £30M throughout Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role of Health, Safety & Environment Advisor will be joining a team of four people and be based in their office in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring all HSQE documentation is filed and stored correctly, complying with HSQE management system.
  • Assist operational site teams with training as and when required following on from any gaps highlighted after site audits.
  • Regularly & thoroughly promote a safe working environment both internally and externally representing the business and their values.
Requirements
