Job description

Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Semester: Fall Semester 2025

Adjunct Faculty: Accounting

The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach an 8-week introductory accounting course. The instructor must be familiar with teaching in a blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom. The instructor must be available to teach on campus.

Course: ACCT113 Accounting & Financial Accounting I

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in-classroom or online instruction.

The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree from a recognized college or university majoring in accounting or a similar field.

Experience: Two (2) years' professional experience in the field of accounting.
