Job summary
A local authority agency is seeking a Locum Childcare Lawyer for a 3-month position with the possibility of extension. The role involves managing a variety of Childcare cases, representing the Council at the Family Court, and providing specialist advice. Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, Court attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate must have an experience in handling Childcare matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.
Duties may include:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings
- Represent the Council at the Family Court when required
- Provide specialist Childcare services and policy advice with an emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters
