A leading media company in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Back-End Engineer to join their Digital Development team. In this role, you'll lead the development of back-end systems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality solutions. Requires strong experience with Go, TypeScript, PHP, SQL, and AWS. You’ll be joining our dynamic Digital Development team within Bauer Media Audio, where we build the back-end systems that power mobile, web, and voice-connected experiences across international markets. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. We work closely with product and technology teams to ensure our platforms meet the evolving needs of our audiences.
As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Bauer’s digital platforms. You’ll lead the development of client-agnostic services, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing systems. Your work will directly impact millions of users across Europe, helping us deliver seamless audio experiences. This is a senior role where your technical expertise and leadership will be trusted and valued.
You’ll be responsible for leading development efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
