A leading end of life charity is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to shape and implement communications plans that align with organizational goals. This role involves evaluating campaign performance and influencing stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in external communications, project management skills, and a passion for the charity sector. The position offers a salary between £36,900 and £41,000, with options for remote or hybrid working.

Marie Curie is the UK's leading end of life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end of life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end of life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they're likely to die from.
As part of our Communications Department, the Strategic Communications Manager supports the implementation and optimisation of our communications campaigns in line with our organisational strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape this new role as you develop and deliver communications plans, helping us refine our corporate story with engaging messages that are consistently integrated, aligned, audience led and prioritised to achieve our objectives.
In this newly created role, you'll develop and deliver communications plans that bring together key organisational priorities, ensuring Marie Curie's external communications are coordinated, compelling, and impactful. You'll help shape the charity's story, refine its messaging, and ensure that communications are aligned, consistent, and tailored to the needs of our audiences.
£36,900 - 41,000 per annum (plus London Weighting Allowance if applicable)
Permanent, full-time
Fully remote (work from home) or hybrid working(Embassy Gardens office in London).
