About the role:
- We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst to support a high-profile transformation programme within a local authority setting.
- This role will play a crucial part in the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from legacy systems into the new MOSAIC system, helping to ensure a smooth transition and data integrity throughout each stage of migration.
- Working closely with internal ICT&D teams, project leads, and third-party providers, you will take the lead on technical data migration tasks, ensuring timelines are met and data quality is upheld.
- This is a fully remote, contract role ideally suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative project environment and can provide expert guidance across multiple migration iterations.
- Standard DBS required and 2 references relevant to role including last contract also required
- Experience with MOSAIC and public sector data migration projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities
As the Data Migration Analyst, your key duties will include:
- Leading on the extraction and transformation of data from legacy systems, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Working closely with CMBC ICT&D team members to extract data and validate its suitability for migration.
- Applying expert knowledge and using Access Group migration documentation to transform data into the required format.
- Ensuring transformed files are delivered in the correct structure and within the timeframes outlined by the project plan.
- Supporting testing processes in collaboration with the Test Manager and wider team, resolving any migration-related issues.
- Offering guidance and training to ICT&D team members as needed.
- Collaborating with business leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear and consistent communication throughout each migration iteration.
- Experience of working with MOSAIC is essential for this role.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of MOSAIC, including form structures and best practices.
- Experience working with reference data and an understanding of its importance to data quality.
- Strong understanding of worker role setup and configuration within MOSAIC.
- Knowledge of setting up both MOSAIC portals.
- Experience in training delivery for MOSAIC systems.
- Workflow creation expertise, specifically for migration.
- Familiarity with go-live processes and post-go-live case management.

- Experience with SSIS and SQL (stored procedures and queries).
- Understanding of the MOSAIC security model.
- Familiarity with NHS Spine, Mini Spine, MESH and MOLES systems.
