A leading nonprofit organization in London is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to develop a strong online presence targeting young black women. The role requires proficiency in various social media platforms, creativity in content creation, and an understanding of black culture within the music industry. This part-time position offers flexibility and the chance to drive positive change in creative industries.
Girls I Rate is a non-profit organisation founded in 2016 by Grammy award-winning songwriter Carla Marie Williams. We strive to celebrate, empower and advocate for girls and young women in the music and other creative industries. We push for female representation, recognition and gender equality.
We are looking for a part-time (hours and pay to be confirmed) experienced Social Media Manager to help lead in the development and upkeep of a strong and energetic online presence. With an audience of mostly 16-30 year old black women, the role of Social Media Manager is an important one as this is the main point of communication with our community.
The right candidate will have knowledge across all social media platforms and can also generate exciting and strong ideas for both social media and brand strategy to drive online growth. This is an exciting and immersive role for someone who is both creative and results driven.
