As part of the Catering team, the Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing and delivering the hotel's breakfast offerings and managing the kitchen in the absence of the Head and Sous Chefs. You'll be working as part of our friendly team to ensure the efficient day to day running of the kitchen and to assist in providing a consistently high quality dining experience while maintaining sales, reputation and profit of the kitchen as agreed by the Head Chef.You'll need to be flexible to work in different areas, if required, and adhering to all health and safety requirements at all times.

• Salary- The full time (37.5 hour) salary range for this role is £26,200 - £38,000, however expected salary is £31,440 - £45,599 based on a 45 hour week that we are currently recruiting for.

• Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.

• Working pattern/flexible working- 45 hours per week, 6am - 4pm - 5 days per week including weekends on a rota basis

• Location- This role is based at our Odney Club Hotel, Cookham, Berkshire

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the Head Chef & Sous Chef to plan, produce and deliver the hotel food offer and agreed food presentation standards, in line with current trends and customer demand.

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Meeting all legislative requirements for the Catering environment, to include allergens.

• Daily compliance which could include maintaining accurate records of equipment, cleaning schedules, temperature checks, following all food safety policies.

Essential skills/experience you’ll need

• We are looking for someone creative with a professional demeanor who must be able to work under pressure, demonstrating flair and a good palette with experience working in a professional kitchen.

• Food Safety level 2

• Proven Experience or professional Chef qualifications to working in an industry Kitchen

Desirable skills/experience you may have

• Food Safety Level 3
