A leading recruitment agency is seeking an IT literate individual to manage materials and logistics in Longsight, Manchester. Responsibilities include processing repairable materials and maintaining documentation while ensuring compliance with HSQE requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven MS Excel skills and previous experience in a Stock Controller role. This permanent position offers a salary of £31,450 with a regular Monday to Friday schedule.

Job description

Salary: £31,450
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days (37.5 hour week)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Longsight, Manchester

Opportunity:
IT Literate individual required to operate and update MS Excel systems, ensuring data is generated and pulled effectively for smooth process. This person will also be needed to quickly pick up and learn new IT systems (this is a bespoke system, so will likely be new to anyone who joins).

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and process repairable materials and shipping documentation
• Coordination of logistics with suppliers and local depot
• Maintain material logs, system update and documentation, providing quality and accurate information
• Ensure compliance with all HSQE requirements

Essentials

• Proven MS Excel skills
• Previous experience within a Stock Controller / Materials Controller role
• Computer Literate (strong IT skills are a must)
• A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
