A leading organisation in the manufacturing and engineering sector seeks an HR Manager to manage its UK HR function independently. This role includes aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring legal compliance, and driving employee engagement and development initiatives. Suitable candidates will bring CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience, with a proactive approach to results-driven HR operations.

- Solid knowledge of UK employment law.

SF Recruitment are working exclusively for a leading organisation in the manufacturing and engineering sector. My client is seeking a capable HR Manager to take full ownership of its UK HR function. This standalone role offers the opportunity to lead and operate hands-on across all areas of HR.
This opportunity requires someone to start before the end of July 2025.
Are you a proactive self-starter who takes initiative and drives results, rather than waiting for direction?
Hours: 40 hours per week - However part time applications will also be considered.
Salary: GBP55,000 per annum (pro rata if part time)
Key Responsibilities
- Align HR strategy with business goals and support leadership.
- Manage all HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, and exits.
- Ensure legal compliance and maintain up-to-date HR policies.
- Drive employee engagement, learning, and development initiatives.
- Implement training plans
- Succession planning
About You
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or equivalent.
- Proven HR generalist experience in a standalone role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong communicator, self-motivated, and pragmatic.
