Job summary
An engineering recruitment firm is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Fitter for a permanent role in Crawley. The successful candidate will perform both planned and reactive maintenance on various machinery including conveyors and gearboxes. Applicants should have an NVQ 3 qualification and experience in maintenance roles within the asphalt or cement industries. This position offers a salary of £37,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience, with basic work hours of 38 per week plus overtime and call-outs.
Qualifications
- Must have CCNSG card.
- NVQ 3 or equivalent trade qualification needed.
- Experience in maintenance of asphalt, cement, and quarry plants is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on site.
- Conduct reactive repairs on various equipment.
- Maintain conveyors, elevators, dryers, motors, and gearboxes.
